We’re throwing a party to celebrate the end of construction on Lower Decatur, the arrival of spooky season, and all things wonderfully New Orleans.
Join us October 17 at 1215 Decatur for a night of art, music, absinthe, coastal restoration, live performances, food, and a little beautiful darkness. Expect drinks poured by Dead in the Afternoon Absinthe, new artwork series debut by Crystale, live music by Isaiah Da Artist, local artists and vendors, a curated silent auction benefiting Glassroots, a local nonprofit turning recycled glass into a resource for Louisiana’s future.
Come celebrate with us, support Lower Decatur, discover something new, bid on something beautiful, and raise a glass to dead artists, recycled art, and the wonderfully eclectic spirits that make this city worth fighting for!
The construction is (almost) over. The dead are coming out. Let’s Party!
WHERE YOUR SUPPORT GOES
100% of the proceeds from our silent auction will benefit Glassroots and their work to build a stronger, more resilient Louisiana.
Glassroots is a New Orleans nonprofit turning glass waste into a resource for our community and our coast. Through their work with Glass Half Full, discarded glass is transformed into sand and other materials used for coastal restoration, flood resilience, and environmental projects across Louisiana.
As artists who believe in giving discarded materials a second life, we love that this mission is so closely connected to our own. And in keeping with the spirit of the evening, every absinthe bottle enjoyed and given away at this event will also be donated to Glassroots for recycling.
